The MF212w measures 12.3 by 15.4 by 14.6 inches (HWD), which may be too big to share a desk with comfortably. However, it's certainly small enough to keep in arm's reach nearby.

A key limitation to the mobile support is that the only way to connect to the printer from a mobile device is through an access point on your network, which means the printer has to be connected directly to the network also.
